This allow 2 LANs to be connected. PCs on each endpoint gain secure access to the remote LAN.
- The 2 LANs MUST use different IP address ranges: 192.168.0.xxx vs 192.168.1.xxx
- Within the VPN tunnel, you can share data, running NetMeeting/Video Conferencing solutions and Voice IP Phone/Gateways.
Firewall features: can prevent hackers and can restrict users to use some or all types of internet
communications.
